AFC Leopards have been forced to drop four players that featured in the FKF Betway Cup final for Friday’s FKF Premier League outing at home to Bandari at the Thika Municipal Stadium.

Custodian John Oyemba, center back Clyde Senaji and midfielder Said Tsuma who all started in their 4-1 penalty shootout loss to archrivals Gor Mahia at the Nyayo National Stadium on Sunday have been axed from the match day squad after the lapse of their contracts at the den.

“Ochan Benjamin, Senaji Clyde, Hansel Ochieng, Said Tsuma and Oyemba John won’t feature in the match after their contracts ended,” a communique from the club reads.

Established goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan who did not feature on Sunday and midfielder Hansel Ochieng who came off the bench, also miss out with their future at AFC Leopards unclear.

AFC Leopards host Bandari at the Thika Stadium in a round 25 tie, head coach Patrick Aussems keen to secure a win over his predecessors Anthony ‘Modo’ Kimani and Andre Casa Mbungo.

Ingwe go into the match third on 40 points, ten within Tusker who edged out Gor Mahia 2-1 on Thursday as Bandari lie sixth on 33 points.

David Mulongo will officiate the match kicks off at 3.15PM East African Time and will be live on Startimes.
