Wazito FC have sacked coach Melis Medo just after four games in charge.
The American tactician was appointed three weeks ago to replace Fred Ambani who was fired alongside technical director Stanley Okumbi after a public alteration during training.
Wazito owner Dubai-based billionaire Ricardo Badoer, vis his twitter account, revealed that he had handpicked the former Sofapaka coach to oversee an upturn in fortunes at the moneybags, a move that has backfired.
In his four outings Medo has registered a single win, 4-3 over Sony Sugar, settling for a barren draw in his opening game against Posta Rangers and losing 2-1 and 2-0 to Sofapaka and Kisumu All Stars respectively.
The ex-Mount Kenya United tactician seems to have cooked his own goose after publicly blasting his players after a 2-1 loss to former employers Batoto Ba Mungu.
“All of them (defenders) all of them must go, including the keepers. You cannot be a goalkeeper without talking, you cannot be a bus driver without the steering wheel, all of them will have to go,” he fired in a post-match interview.
The comments seem to have irked the Wazito playing unit with the player-coach relationship worsening, in a probable case of sabotage.
Reports link former KCB coach Frank Ouna with a caretaker role at the ‘Heavy Seat’.
Wazito are currently 13th with 10 points from as many games.
