Gor Mahia defender Harun Shakava cannot wait to show his ‘A’ game when the defending champions play Wazito FC on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old center back has been instrumental in Gor Mahia’s recent resurgence, only allowing in a single goal in their last league outings.

Shakava maintains it is all down to their strategy and heading into Wednesday’s showdown, maximum points is the key goal.
“For us it is one game at a time. We are waiting for the next game (against Wazito) on Wednesday,” said the former Nkana FC man.
The record Kenyan champions have brushed off a poor start to the season winning all their six league matches since the resumption of the FKF Premier League to dislodge archrivals AFC Leopards from third place.
“We will again approach it differently,” he added.

Since the return of football Gor Mahia have picked vital wins against Nairobi City Stars, Sofapaka (twice), Vihiga United, Wazito and Mathare United to keep pace on the leading cast currently only second to KCB and Tusker.
In other matches, Tusker will be out to dislodge KCB from top spot with a win over KCB at Ruaraka Grounds as AFC Leopards seek a seemingly routine win over Mathare United in an early kick off match at the same venue.
