The 56th edition of Africa’s premier club football tournament organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), is expected to be historic this year as the finals have been arranged to be held in a particular venue being at the Douala City in Cameroon.
Japoma Stadium in Cameroon won the bid to host the CAF Champions league final this year after beating the bid against Stade Olympique de Radès of Tunisia and Stade Mohamed V of Morocco.

This will be the first time all games are played in one city, opposed to previous games that matches used to be played home and away, a format that was advantageous to some teams.
The finals that is scheduled to be played on 29 May will meet the winner of semi-finalist between Al Ahly vs Wydad Casablanca of Morocco against Zamalek vs Raja Casablanca which both plays in leagues of Egypt and Morocco respectively.
CAF has insisted that the competition will go on despite the cancellation of 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers that was scheduled to be played between 25 March to 30, the same months
