Elvis Rupia scored the winner from the spot against his former side Wazito as AFC Leopards fought from a 1-0 half time deficit to win the game 2-1 at Utalii Grounds in Nairobi.
Wazito capitalized on an error by AFC Leopards goalkeeper Benjamin Ochan to take the lead in the 35th through Michael Owino, a lead that last past the break.

Bienvenue Shaka was on target 11 minutes after the intermission to level scores as the 1998 Kenyan Premier League champions continued to push for a winner.
Their efforts finally paid off in the closing stages of the game as Hansel Owino went down in the box under a challenge by Maurice Owino as match day captain Rupia stepped up to slot home.

The win sees Ingwe reclaim third spot from archrivals Gor Mahia who lost 2-1 at home to ten-man Western Stima.
Ingwe are third on 40 points, two above Gor Mahia and four adrift leaders Tusker, 21 matches into the season.
Elsewhere, Posta Rangers picked up a 2-1 win over Mathare United as KCB and Kakamega Homeboyz played to a barren draw.
