[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Kenya cup match week seven will present mouth watering clash this weekend with two of the best charges squaring it off at Nandi Bears club.
League leaders and defending champions KCB will be visiting hosts Kabras Sugar at Nandi club in a match that will have more than just three points at stake.
KCB currently sit at the top of the log with 38points from 8 matches while Kabras come second with 30points from 6 clashes.
Both teams have been above the cut above the rest this season with no loss. Away from the mantle of unbeaten records which stands to come to a halt this Saturday, ( barring a draw), the elephant in the room lies on thr issue of the Kenya Cup final venue.
Since 2016, the highest ranked team has always had the honour to host the championship match. For both teams, it’s a do or die affair to land this opportunity.
A win for any side followed by wins from the remaining pool matches and subsequent playoffs with grant either of the two the hosting rights. With this in mind, it’s not going to be a walk in the park as both teams will step up to show case a point of dominance.
Away from Nandi Bears club, Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) will be up against the Blak Blad of Kenyatta University in a Varsity derby.
The league cup debutants MMUST have certainly proved themselves worth to stay in the league with two wins and draw from seven outings on their score card.
The KU charges on their end are certainly not letting the guard down and will keep on the fight to move up the log.
