Tusker headed into the FKF Premier League match at Utalii Grounds in second place and in search of a vital win to keep pace on KCB who won 1-0 against Mathare United on Saturday to open a four-point gap at the summit.
The 2016 Kenyan Premier League champions had their patience tested, William Muluya’s side hanging on a 0-0 score for the greater part of the game until the 63rd minute when Chrispinus Onyango popped up with a headed goal after a sublime cross by Sammy Meja on his way to the man of the match award.
