Sofapaka midfielder Lawrence Juma is determined to score against his former side Gor Mahia when the two sides face off on Sunday in the FKF Premier League.
The 28-year-old is in fine form, with 11 goals in 19 games for the 2009 Kenyan Premier League champions and on the back of a brace in their 2-2 draw against AFC Leopards, seeking to extend his fine form in front of the goal.
“Of course am looking forward to work hard and have a goal against Gor Mahia in Sunday’s game,” Juma said.

The midfielder joined K’Ogalo from Nzoia Sugar in 2017 and went on to win three successive league titles, before ditching them for Sofapaka at the start of the 2020/2021 season.
However, the Kenyan international who penned a two-year-deal with Batoto Ba Mungu still holds Gor Mahia in his heart.
“The reality is, I won’t celebrate my goal, Gor Mahia remains my favourite team,” he added.

Sofapaka are away to Gor Mahia at Thika Stadium in one of the three FKF Premier League matches slated for Sunday afternoon and Juma will seek to add to his 11 league goal tally.
