World record holder Brigid Kosgei has yet again pulled another masterclass to defend her London marathon title.

The 26-year-old Kosgei clocked two hours 18 minutes and 58 seconds to claim the 3.2 million shillings’ prize.

Another Kenyan Ruth Chepngetich who had little left in the tank in the penultimate stages of the race, bottled out second place finish third behind American Sara Hall.

Eliud Kipchoge is currently on track battling for the men’s gong.
