Harambee Starlets striker Mwanahalima ‘Dogo’ Adam is set for trials with Djugardens IF, a Swedish top-tier side.
The 22-year old currently plies her trade with the Women’s Premier League side Thika Queens, which finished third last season.
The goal poacher is set to depart for Sweden on Tuesday with the trials expected to come to an end on 31st January.

Her current coach, Fredrick Chege was all but full of praise for his attacker.
“This is great news for the team and an inspiration to the rest of the players. Adam is hardworking, extremely skilled and genuinely enjoys football. I hope that her efforts will immensely impress the scouts and give her a better opportunity to excel in the sport,” Thika Queens manager Fredrick Chege is quoted by Nation.

Adam had been spotted by the Swedish scouts from her impressive performance in last year’s Council of East and Central Africa Football Association (CECAFA) Championship and met Mwanahalima when they visited Kenya for a coaches training last in December.
Her trials comes barely a day after Harambee Starlets teammate Vivian Corazone Acquino sealed a move to Portuguese topflight outfit Atletico Ouriense on a one-year deal.

Adam scored five goals in the competition, which Starlets won after outclassing two time defending champions Tanzania 2-0 in the final at the Chamazi Stadium in Dar es Salaam.
This was the first ever triumph by the Kenyan queens at the stage.
