Western Stima fought from two goals down to salvage a 2-2 draw against Kariobangi Sharks in an FKF Premier League tie at the Thika Municipal Stadium on Monday afternoon.

Star man Eric Kapaito was twice on target in the opening 36 minutes to give Sharks a two-goal solid lead, the second goal coming from the spot.

Kapaito’s second goal came just moments after Baron Oketch blew up Stima’s equalizing chance by having his spot kick saved.

Stima was however determined to get result on away soil, with strikes from Rodgers Ouma late in the first half and Baron Oketch in the last quarter of the game doing the trick for the relegation threatened Powermen.

The draw leaves Sharks 5th on 35 points from 23 matches as Stima lie 15th on 17 points, 23 games into their league campaign.
