Inter Milan have clinched the 2020/2021 Serie A after second-placed Atalanta drew 1-1 away to Sassuolo.
The triumph which is Inter Milan’s first in 11 years ended Juventus’ run of nine consecutive title wins.
Juventus have struggled for from this season under club legend Andrea Pirlo who took over from Maurizio Sarri at the end of last season.
This seasons’ win is Inter’s 19th in the Serie A, one ahead of their nemesis AC Milan, making the Nerazzurri the second-most successful club in Serie A, behind Juventus who are runway leaders with 36 league titles
The last time the San Siro giants tested title victory was back in 2010 under Jose Mourinho who sailed them to a treble win of the Serie A, Coppa Italia and the Champions League.

Inter won 2-0 against Crotone on Saturday to move up to 82 points and only needed a point in the remaining four games to be assured of the title.
Atalanta’s draw however ensured it was mathematically impossible for any of the chasing pack to catch them.
