Bruno Fernandes, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood netted one goal apiece to bolster Manchester United to a 3-0 triumph over Watford in their Sunday’s premier league tie at Old Trafford.

Fernandes scored his debut goal for the Old Trafford outfits whilst orchestrating two more chances to secure a win after going down against the Hornets in the reverse fixture.

The Portuguese national broke the deadlock for the hosts in the 42nd minute, slotting past Ben Foster from the penalty spot after he was brought down by the Watford shot stopper.

Watford’s Troy Deeney thought he had drawn Watford level minutes after the break but his goal was overturned by the Video Assistant Referee after Craig Dawson was adjudged to have handled in the build-up.

Anthony Martial doubled Man Utd’s lead in the 58th minute in sublime style, skilfully beating a defender before chipping the ball over helpless Foster.

Mason Greenwood sealed the win for the Devils in the 75th minute with a screamer which headed straight to the underside of the crossbar after Fernandes put him through.
