Chelsea legend Didier Drogba is among the people who have come out two rebuke comments made by two french scientists on using Africans as lab rats for the Coronavirus vaccine.

Professors Jean-Paul Mira and her colleague Camille Locht made the assertions on French TV channel LCI.

This rubbed the likes of Cameroonian Samuel Eto’o and Demb Ba the wrong way and considered the remarks as racist. This has been echored by the former Ivory Coast international star Didier Drogba

Les dirigeants Africains ont la responsabilité de protéger les populations de ces complots abominables.

“I strongly denounce these serious, racist and contemptuous remarks! Help us save lives in Africa and stop the spread of this virus which is destabilizing the whole world, instead of considering ourselves as guinea pigs.

“It’s absurd! African leaders have a responsibility to protect people from these heinous plots ” said the 42 year old

Instead, the Ivorian has called on the Europeans to help fight Covid-19 from spreading in Africa instead of spreading contemptuous remarks.

The virus has broight the world normalcy at stand still halting sporting events and major activities this threatening to dwindle economic growth across the globe.

The comments has since led to social media out cry as many Twitter users express their opinions through the hashtag #AfricansAreNotLabRats
