Goal-shy Arsenal were yet again held to a barren draw in the charges of Burnley on their Sunday’s premier league tie at Tuff Moor making it a fourth successive draw for Gunners.

Mikel Arteta’a charges lifted off with a much promising spirit, point-man Alexandre Lacazette heading just past the post with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang firing wide when through on goal.

Arsenal shot-stopper Bernd Leno put his side on the game by rubbishing Jay Rodriguez chance to put the hosts upfront.

The hosts had a chance to silence the Gunners but Jay Rodriguez close-range volley crashed against the underside of the crossbar before landing on the goal-line and bouncing out of the game.

The last time Burnley triumphed against Gunners was in 2008 where a brace from Kevin McDonald was enough earn the Clarets a 2-0 triumph against Arsenal in Carabao Cup (Capital one) tie.
