AFC Leopards survived a scare from the little known Equity FC at Utalii Grounds on Sunday to advance to the finals of the FKF Betway Cup.
Ingwe who were up against the Division One side were forced to labour for their slot in the finals firing blanks in regulation time, the game ending 0-0 to call for penalties.

Levani Ochieng missed the fourth spot kick for Equity, blowing it over the bar to inject some optimism in the AFC Leopards camp and confident of a 5-4 penalty shoot out win.
Ingwe’s untimely party was short-lived Austin Odhiambo had his shot saved by Timothy Ngugi.
Ingwe shot stopper John Oyemba then parried Josephat Waititu’s penalty, to give Hansel Ochieng the rare opportunity to win it for AFC Leopards with the ultimate kick, that recorded a 6-5 win for Ingwe.

AFC Leopards will now face the winner between Gor Mahia and Bidco United.
The winner of the competition will represent Kenya in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Equity has been a thorn in the flesh of FKF Premier League sides, especially after knocking out holders Bandari FC in the quarterfinals.
