AFC Leopards were left ruing missed chances after settling for a frustrating 0-0 draw at Posta Rangers at the Ruaraka Grounds in Nairobi in one of the Saturday’s triple header in the FKF Premier League.

The Mailmen started off the better side winning two corners in the opening four minutes, but the corners were well defended by the 1998 Kenyan Premier League champions.

Ingwe slowly got into the game, coming close to taking the lead on the quarter hour mark but Austin Odhiambo’s 15th minute long-range strike went wide.

It was the hosts’ turn six minutes later, Francis Nambute firing from within the six-yard box only for Ingwe shot stopper Benjamin Ochan to deal with it superbly on his way to winning the man of the match award.

Neither side was able to capitulate even after the break, despite the visitors losing Isaac Kipyegon to a red card in the 49th minute, the showdown at Ruaraka ending 0-0.

The draw denied AFC Leopards the chance to leapfrog KCB to second level on points with league leaders Tusker (35 points).

Patrick Aussems’ side are third on 33 points after 16 matches as Rangers dislodge Nairobi City Stars from 12th spot on 18 points.
