Kenya Premier League defending champions Gor Mahia and their namesis AFC Leopards progressed to the quarter-finals of the FKF Betway Cup following their respective wins on Sunday 6th June.

In a march played at Utalii grounds in Thika, Leopards had to come from behind twice scoring two goals in the final 10 minutes as they booked a slot in the last eight where they will face Tusker FC.

Robinson Kamura and Collins Shichenje having scored for Leopards to give them a 2-2 tie leaving late for Isaac Kipyegon who scored  from the penalty spot and Elvis Rupia to seal 4-2 victory.

in Ruaraka, Kenneth Muguna’s sumptuous free-kick five minutes in the second half handed Gor Mahia victory and a place in the last eight with a 2-1 win over Division One Zone B league leaders Mara Sugar who stand unbeaten in their League.

Elsewhere, coastal side Bandari mauled Sigalagala TTI 5-0 as Ulinzi fall 0-2  in the hands of Nairobi City Stars.
