Nominator senator Millicent Omanga has been expelled from Jubilee party in what the party terms as gross misconduct and insubordination of the party leadership.

Omanga has been expelled with four other nominated senators after snubbing the Parliamentary Group meeting called by the Jubilee Party Leader President Uhuru Kenyatta at the statehouse on Monday.

Other senators that have been shown the exit door Falhada Dekow Iman, Naomi Jilo Waqo, Mary Yiane and Victor Prengei.

Jubilee Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju says the five despite snubbing Monday’s meeting, did no effort to send apologies for their absence.

Sources indicate the part is now contemplating on invoking the Political Parties Act, the Jubilee Party Constitution and the Elections Act to replace the five senators who have since pledged their allegiance to Deputy Party Leader and Deputy President William Ruto.

Omanga has since taken to social media to express her feelings towards the party’s actions.

“All is well my people. Tuko Pamoja,” she said.

All is well my people 🙏.#TukoPamoja
