All night clubs in Mombasa will be closed for at least a month as the coronavirus scourge starts taking toll on the country.

Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and County Commissioner Gilbert Kitiyo issued the order on Saturday, directing all night club operators to cease from doing business for the next thirty days.

The coastal county has been marked as a high-risk area for coronavirus and the directive is one of the measures taken by the county to avert any possible crisis, just a day after the country confirmed its first coronavirus infection.
