Jubilee Secretary General and Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju has been airlifted to the Nairobi Hospital to be treated after being involved in a road accident in Magina area along Nairobi Nakuru highway while on way to former President Moi in Kabarak.
Tuju was taken to Kijabe hospital for emergency services along Kijabe street after the crash that happened between his Toyota Prado and a 14 seater passenger matatu early this morning.
In a prado that had three people, Tuju is said to have chest issues, a driver injured on his arm while the bodyguard is in a stable conditions.
All the vehicles that were involved in the accident has been taken to Lari police station and the police post is set to give more information about the same.
According to the government spokesman Cyrus Oguna who confirmed the incident saying that CS is in stable condition and will be get more treatment to Nairobi.
The Cabinet Secretary was airlifted in a police helicopter to Wilson airpot and the road crash caused the CS of sports Ambassador Amina Mohammed to cancel his journey and assist the casualities.
