Busia county is once again in the spotlight for what now looks like laxity at its largest health facility, the Busia county referral hospital.
In a memo seen by Kenyan Breaking, the ‘five star health facility’ now issues out soft copy x-ray pictures much to the surprise of locals and non-locals alike.
“This is to inform you that X-ray films are out of stock. X-ray services will continue though images will be provided in soft copy,” reads the memo from the radiology department to patients.
The county is also one of the few counties without an ICU department and as the country grapples with coronavirus infections, it is bound to feel the pinch to the last inch.
The county ministry of health docket is headed by Governor Sospeter Ojaamong’s deputy, Moses Mulomi.
