Two Kenyan truck drivers have tested positive for coronavirus in Uganda.

The two aged 55 and 27 are the only new cases of covid-19 cases confirmed in Uganda on Thursday out of the total 2071 samples tested.

According to the Ministry of Health-Uganda, The 55-year old arrived in Uganda from Kenya via the Malabar border while the other used the Busia border.

All the 492 samples taken from the community tested negative for covid-19.

The number of confirmed covid-19 cases in Uganda now stand at 83 with 52 recoveries and zero fatalities.
