The Cabinet Secretary for Health Mutahi on Wednesday announced that doctors handling Corona Virus in the country have partnered with those based in China, in a move aimed at gaining the necessary knowledge in eliminating the disease.
This is after another three more patient who are foreigners were confirmed to be positive summing up the confirmed number to seven.

CS Mutahi, speaking in a press conference at the Afya house, said the infected are a couple who had traveled from Madrid, Spain through Dubai and the recent being a Burundian who was received at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Tuesday, 17 March.
This happens a moment when the government is in move to track all passengers that arrived on the same day so as to be tested at the National Influenza Centre as well as Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) laboratories.

CS Kagwe added that seven out of the eighteen patients who had been isolated at the Mbagathi have been found negative, as samples from the remaining eleven is being tested at the two designated laboratories.

And in a move to curb the likelihood of receiving more patients especially those people travelling from outside Kenya from affected countries, have to sign a legal form agreeing to quarantine themselves.
“Any Kenyan who is travelling from outside, must sign a legal form at the airport, to confirm that they will quarantine themselves, which gives us the instrument to jail you if you do not follow the procedure”.
