KCB staged a memorable comeback to down Posta Rangers 5-1 at the Kenyatta Stadium on Sunday.
The mailmen took the lead on the quarter hour marker, but the bankers pulled the goal back fourteen minutes to the break.
The game went into the break at 1-1, both coaches, Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno of KCB and Sammy Pamzo Omollo of Posta Rangers all eager to see of the game in the second half.
Two second-half penalties (61st and 74 minute) took the game out of reach for Posta Rangers, KCB adding a fourth and fifth in the 88th and 95th minute respectively.
Despite conceding the two penalties, Rangers also lost two men to red cards.
The win has lifted KCB to third place on 24 points, three adrift leaders Tusker who have played a game more.
Rangers are 10th on 17 points from 12 rounds.
