Kenya has reported seventeen more cases of coronavirus infections taking the tally to 320.
In a presser on Thursday afternoon at Afya House, Health CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi, the country said 12 of the cases were from the coastal county of Mombasa while five were from the capital, Nairobi.
The country also reported six more cases of recoveries taking the recovery toll to 89.
Dr. Mwangangi has however destigmatized the disease insisting it is not a crime contracting the novel virus.
According to Mwangangi, quarantine should not be taken as a punishment by the government also pointing out that public service vehicles were also lapsing in the directives issued to them.
