Uganda recorded zero new cases of coronavirus on Tuesday despite carrying out massive testing.
The country tested 2400 samples; 534 samples were from the community while 1,866 samples were from truck drivers.
All these tested negative.

The total confirmed cases of covid-19 in Uganda stands at 79 and recoveries at 52.
The East African nation is yet to register a single death from the novel virus as active cases stand at 27, the lowest in the region.
On Tuesday night, President Yoweri Museveni briefed the nation on the progress being made on the battle against Covid-19.

Museveni told the nation he will return to announce way forward, as Ugandans yearn for a return to normal routine.
Ugandans who have been on lock down for close to a month expect some ease.
