Kenya has recorded 10 new cases of covid-19 taking the country’s tally to 384.
Health CAS Dr. Mercy Mwangangi made the announcement from Afya House on Wednesday saying that nine of the cases are from the coastal county of Mombasa while Nairobi just recorded one case, from Kawangware.
According to the report by the CAS, the cases were recorded from 508 samples tested in the last 24 hours from 14 counties; including 284 in Nairobi and 89 in Mombasa.
Dr. Mwangangi added that 5 more patients have since been discharged, hence the total number of recoveries now stands at 129.
The country has 241 active cases and 14 fatalities.
