Uganda has confirmed eleven new cases of coronavirus, taking the country’s tally to 74.

All the 11 cases are imported cases from the neighbouring countries of Kenya and Tanzania.

Six Tanzanian truck drivers who arrived via Mutukula Border and five Kenyan truck drivers, 3 arrived via Malaba and 2 arrived via Busia.

On Wednesday Uganda confirmed two more cases of coronavirus, both Tanzanian truck drivers who got into the country via the Mutukulu border taking the infection toll to 63.

The country is yet to register a single death from covid-19 with 45 recovery cases being reported.
