Kenya Railways has suspended commuter services to Imara Daima, Syokimau, Rongai and Ngong until further notice.

The state parastatal has taken the move after the line between Nairobi CBD and Syokimau was submerged by heavy rains.

Commuter services to other destinations are still available.

This is just one of the effects of the heavy rainfall marauding in the country, causing death, destroying property and affecting transport services as the government struggles to contain the situation.
