Thirty-six teenagers were Saturday night arrested in a house party in a village in Rachuonyo East, Homa Bay County.

The children aged between 12 and 17 years were ambushed during an 11PM raid at a house in Koweo village with bottles of alcohol and packets of unused condoms recovered from them.

Two motorcycles were nabbed in the rad and police suspect they could have been used to ferry the minors to the ‘party’.

According to the authorities, a majority of those arrested had just sat for their class 8 and form four exams while the rest are primary school pupils.
