Former Kakamega senator Boni Khalwale has leaped to the defence of 2022 presidential hopeful Mukhisa Kituyi after the latter’s nude video, having the best of moments with a fine lass leaked.
In a tweet, Khalwale, christened the bull fighter claimed the 65-year-old had been set up calling for detractors to get off his neck.
“It doesn’t require genius to decipher that Mukhisa Kituyi has been set up. People should mind their own business,” Khalwale said.

Khalwale is not the only one who has defended, the Kenya Film Classification Board (KFCB) CEO Ezekiel Mutua has also called out those behind the circulation of the video.
“Dr. Mukhisa Kituyi is a globally respected intellectual powerhouse and one of Kenya’s best leadership brands. He’s an elder, a husband and a father. To drag his private moments – real or perceived, into the public is evidence of how low we have sunk as society. SAD!” Mutua said in defence of the former Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development.
