Zindzi Kibiku is not new a name in the Kenyan journalism scene, television to be specific.
A star-to-be who joined KTN News as an intern in 2015 and went on to create a name for herself; hosting a number of shows among them Youth Cafe with Brian Aseli and Morning Express with Michael Gitonga, before exiting in January 2019.
1) August 2015 I joined KTN News team as an intern. As infant as the station was with a goal to be the first 24/HR news network, so was my budding journalism career …

Zindzi, a graduate of communication from Daystar University, would a month later be part of the dream team that joined Citizen TV led by her boss at KTN News Joe Ageyo and Linus Kaikai from NTV.
2) They took a chance on me and allowed me to realize my dream while being myself . I meet so many of you amazing people. Thank you for your feedback, picking calls, showing up in studio and teaching me. Today, I say goodbye with a full heart.

At Citizen TV, she was thrust in familiar territory, hosting the morning show, Day Break alongside Sam Gituku and Trevor Ombija until mid-2020 when she just went missing from the screens, without any explanation from her or her employer.
Zindzi has left her fans pondering, her followers on Facebook oblivious of her whereabouts as she does not give much attention to the platform as she does to Twitter.
It is right to say the sassy lass is far away from screens since last year, mainstream screens to be specific.
Kenyan Breaking KE has since established that the TV siren works as Africa’s Regional lead researcher at Fintech TV, a media production company based in New York City.
Once in a while, Zindzi who has over seven years of experience in media industry, turns out as a host for Form Ni Gani Kenya, an awareness campaign out to sensitize the public on the crucial role of family planning and its effects on their future.
Tomorrow is such a plan!
