The race for CAF Champions League football has taken another twist after Betking Premier League leaders Tusker suffered a 1-0 defeat at home to Posta Rangers.

Josephat Lopaga scored the solitary goal in the 80th minute, just 12 minutes after replacing Georson Likonoh.

Despite Tuesday’s loss, the brewers still lead standings with 38 points, but could relinquish the lead to KCB who are away to Bidco United On Wednesday.

The top-five sides; Tusker, KCB, AFC Leopards, Gor Mahia and Kariobangi Sharks are all in pursuit of the top slot with the Champions League football in sight.

The club that will be at the top of the standings by June 30 will represent Kenya in the CAF Champions League, according to Football Kenya Federation.
