Once a time top actor Peter Kamau Kinuthia better known Omosh is yet again seeking help barely months after Kenyans of goodwill took over his case to save him from his then sorry state.
On Friday however, while appearing on TV47’s morning show dubbed Morning Cafe, the former Tahidi High actor revealed that his life was slowly picking up but not as desired for some of the people who had promised to hold his hand vanished.

“Yes, I can say truly am on track but you know the funny thing is that so many guys out there pledged (to help me) but they were looking for PR. Just a few came on board… Next time if you promise to help someone, don’t be after PR,” he told Linda Alela, the Morning Cafe show host.
The thespian revealed that he had used a large share of the contributions to settle his debts, noting that he received less than a million shillings as opposed to the information in the public domain that he had ‘reaped handsomely’.
Ex-Tahidi High actor Omosh claims well-wishers didn't honour their pledges when he was down in the dregs.
His claim has stirred controversy. Radio presenter Jalang'o discounts the claims: "I can easily assure that Omosh got more than 1m from my show…!" #TV47News pic.twitter.com/DQeqCB7mN4— TV47 Kenya (@tv47ke) June 25, 2021
“People pledged money that I have never received. I got less than a million which I used to settle my debts,” Omosh lamented while calling on those that pledging to help him to meet their end of the bargain.
The actor added:
“Let some one just buy me a camera, tripod and two lights, then I will be good.”

As opposed to the reaction he received after his first appeal, the actor has this round received backlash from Kenyans led by celebrated radio personality Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang’o who termed him a person who does not take lessons from his life experiences.
Jalang’o says Omosh received well over one million shillings.
