The flamboyant politician was found quility by the Environment and Land Court Judge, Sila Munyao who ruled that Joho demolished Mombasa tycoon Ashok Doshi’s perimeter wall in Changamwe on May 10, 2019, disregarding a court order issued On March 6, 2019 by Lady Justice Ann Omollo barring the demolition process.
Others were of the opinion that the governor should now step out of public office having been convicted. This come as at a time when the two term Mombasa Governor is eyeing presidency come 2022 election via the Orange Democratic Movement party .
