It was an unfamiliar Tuesday morning at the Milimani Law Courts as a decision was made to hold court proceedings outside the courtroom.
Nairobi Senior Resident Magistrate Muthoni Nzibe led the proceedings under a tree in a bid to minimize contact in line with guidelines on the coronavirus.

Tuesday’s move comes just a day after courts shut down its operations and directed non-critical staff to execute their duties from their homes, as Milimani Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi said all criminal matters had been deferred until April 15.
Kenya has so far recorded three coronavirus infections with three more suspected cases pending results.
