The body of the 13 year old boy who was shot on Monday by the officers who were enforcing curfew rule has been laid to rest today.

The shooting incident which happened at around 7:20 pm in Kiamaiko within the slums of Mathare Nairobi, took away the life of one Yasin Moyo who was standing on the balcony of their rentals watching the chase game between police and citizens who were rushing home to escape the arm of the government.

The minor was then rushed to the nearby Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital where he was pronounced dead upon arrival. The stray bullet as per the medics is said to have penetrated into his intestines.

The incident aroused social media upror from netizens promoting Director of Public Prosecution Noordin Haji to direct Inspector general Hillary Mutyambai to launch investigation into the matter.

The country was put under 7pm to 5am curfew by the government as an initiative to compat spread of Covid-19 virus which has since infected 59 people.
